Lifting words from Chungdokwan GB….

Sorry for the short notice, but we have just learned that Grandmaster Park Hae Man (10th Dan) of Chungdokwan, Korea will be visiting this week.

The association has organised a seminar to take place in Basingstoke on Wednesday evening (3rd April, 18.30-21.00) which will be open to all ages and all grades.

This is a fantastic opportunity to train with a world-renowned Taekwondo practitioner.

Cost: £10 Kup grades, £20 Dan grades, £30 families, £25 non-TCGB

We hope to see you on Wednesday evening!

4th place to LLTKD at Chungdokwan National Championships

Well done to everyone who competed at yesterday’s Chungdokwan GB National Championships in Bracknell. It was a long day but a good day and we came away narrowly missing out the 3rd place. There were a lot of improvements from the last competition. Keep up the good work guys! Medals update coming soon…

Massive thanks also go to our officials who spent most of the day refereeing and corner judging. They were excellent and received high praise from the Chief Referees, especially considering it was the first time for many of them to officiate.
You guys really made the competition!

Good luck!

Good luck to all the poomse and kyorgi competitors taking part in the Chungdokwan GB National Championships in snowy Bracknell today!

Date for your diary

On Sunday 5th May from 12am – 3pm at Tiffin Sports Centre, we will be having an all LLTKD clubs training and sparring session……. more details to follow.

Nice weather for ducks….?

It may be bucketing down with rain, but training is still on at TASIS from 3pm.

World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine

Well Done to Claire from TASIS TKD for taking part in World Vision’s 30 hour famine (I don’t think I could do it)!  If you want to contribute to this excellent cause, click here.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Thanks to all the mothers who do so much for us every day to make our lives a little easier – sweaty Taekwondo uniforms are not the nicest things to be around!
Hope you have a very happy day :)!
