Following on from the success of last year's camp, Master Lawrence took a group of 13 students to Hungary for the week long training camp organised by Universum Taekwondo.

This year 13 students from all clubs were represented. Like last year, it was a great and challenging experience for everyone with a 6:30am morning session, 2 hour lunchtime training and another 2+ hour evening session in some very hot and sticky conditions, not to mention fighting off the mosquitos!

(Luckily) it wasn't all hard work, the team spent the first Saturday in Budapest enjoying the Gellert thermal bathes followed by an indulgent meal at Lancelot's restaurant.

Once at the camp, when we weren't training, we were able to take a short walk where we could relax by the lake.

In the evenings all the teams participated in a variety of team competition activities. It was very close, but in the end LLTKD snatched the win in the team jump rope competition, and Samuel & Harrison won the "best brothers" prize.

World Chungdokwan Championships, Singapore

Over the Easter weekend Master Lawrence travelled to Singapore to represent TCGB and officiate at the World Chungdokwan Championships.

Teams from all over the world were present at this great event competing in Kyorgi, Poomse and Kyupa (breaking).

Master Lawrence extends his thanks to Dr Stephen Koh and the Singapore organising committee for their gracious hospitality during his stay.

The TCGB National Championships was a successful event for the LLTKD clubs with the Kingston University club leaving with 8 medals - 4 Golds, 2 Silvers and 2 Bronzes and the Stag Lane club leaving with 6 Golds, 5 Silver and 1 Bronze. Well done to all competitors.

BSTF Student Nationals, Nottingham

Kingston University were well represented at the Student Championships in Nottingham and after some tough competition returned with 7 medals - 2 Golds, 3 Silvers and 2 Bronzes.
